Polaris RZR Factory Racing Closes 2025 With a Perfect, Undefeated Season

As the 2025 off-road racing season comes to a close, Polaris RZR Factory Racing delivered a result never before achieved in UTV competition. The team completed a flawless year, winning the UTV overall at every major event it entered. Across rally-raid, desert endurance, point-to-point racing, and hybrid rock events, Polaris finished the season undefeated.

Dominance Across the World’s Toughest Events

The season opened at the Dakar Rally, where Polaris RZR Factory Racing, in partnership with Sébastien Loeb Racing, secured a second consecutive Overall SSV victory. Rookie driver Brock Heger and navigator Max Eddy Jr. led the field for ten straight stages and finished more than two hours ahead.

Momentum carried immediately into the United States. At King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, Heger delivered commanding wins in both the Desert Challenge and the UTV Hammers Championship, completing the rare UTV Triple Crown.

Polaris Takes Control of the Desert Calendar

At the Mint 400, Polaris RZR Factory Racing made its official debut and immediately took control, capturing the UTV Pro Open class and overall UTV victory.

The SCORE Desert Series further highlighted the depth of the program. Polaris drivers filled nine of the top ten positions at San Felipe and delivered a historic one-two-three overall sweep at the Baja 500.

At Vegas to Reno, Mitch Guthrie Jr. drove his RZR Pro R Factory to overall UTV victory and second overall among all four-wheeled vehicles.

Closing the Year at the Baja 1000

The season concluded at the Baja 1000, where Cayden MacCachren and co-driver Ethan Groom secured Polaris’ third consecutive overall UTV victory and completed a perfect SCORE season.

Brock Heger’s fifth-place finish sealed his third straight SCORE Pro UTV Open Championship and a one-two-three points finish for Polaris.

The RZR Pro R Platform Behind the Results

Every victory in the 2025 season came aboard the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory platform. Closely based on the consumer RZR Pro R, the race machine features an FIA-spec chassis, long-travel suspension, and a race-tuned ProStar Fury 2.0-liter engine.

Over a full season, reliability, driveline strength, and suspension durability proved decisive across Dakar, SCORE, and long-distance desert racing.

Supporting Independent Pro R Racing Efforts

The connection between race and production matters. It includes customer racing teams running Pro R Factory cars, privateers building Pro R-based race vehicles, and serious weekend racers pushing the platform in desert and endurance conditions.

At DoubleZero Powersports, we support those independent efforts by supplying used, low-mileage RZR Pro R Factory race parts that also fit standard Pro R models. Engines, driveline components, clutches, differentials, and upgraded transmissions are individually inspected and documented by mileage.

The objective remains simple. Reliable parts that hold up when it matters.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With a flawless 2025 behind them, Polaris RZR Factory Racing now turns its focus toward Dakar 2026. After resetting the standard across global off-road competition, expectations are higher than ever.
