DoubleZero Powersports at SEMA 2024 - Highlights and Innovations
Our DoubleZero Powersports team had an incredible experience at the 2024 SEMA Show, the ultimate event for the automotive aftermarket industry. We kicked things off by catching up with our partner, Chas Moore from Battle Born Offroad, who plays a crucial role in managing our used parts sales and supporting our racing clients.
Sierra Romo’s Polaris RZR at the Maxxis Tires Booth

One of the highlights of our visit was checking out Sierra Romo's @sierra_romo929 impressive Polaris RZR race car at the Maxxis Tires booth. As a factory Polaris RZR driver from Las Vegas, Sierra has become a significant force in the off-road racing scene. Her RZR, equipped with KMC Wheels, FOX Shocks, Baja Designs lighting, and PCI Race Radios, represents a blend of high-performance components built for the most demanding off-road adventures.

Innovations at the Baja Designs Booth

The Baja Designs booth was a hub of innovation, showcasing powerful off-road lighting solutions tailored to enhance the Polaris RZR Pro R. Known as “The Scientists of Lighting,” Baja Designs has developed race-proven lights that push the boundaries of visibility and durability. From A-pillar kits that illuminate critical lighting zones to roof-mounted light bars that pierce through the darkness, their products are engineered to keep drivers safe and confident, even on the toughest trails.

Precision Power from sPOD

Right alongside Baja Designs, we explored sPOD’s advanced power management solutions, designed specifically for UTVs and SxS vehicles. These systems integrate seamlessly into the Polaris RZR Pro R, offering intuitive and reliable control over all electronic accessories. With options like the BantamX and steering wheel-mounted kits, sPOD ensures that off-road enthusiasts can efficiently manage their power needs while navigating the harshest environments.

MCD1 Dakar Prototype at the Baja Designs Booth

We were blown away by the MCD1 Dakar Prototype, an engineering marvel on display at the Baja Designs booth. This Land Rover Range Rover Velar packs a twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan V10 Stage 3 engine from Underground Racing, pushing a jaw-dropping 1600 horsepower. Its chassis, constructed from TIG-welded 4130 chromoly steel tubing, is paired with King bypass shocks, making this machine capable of conquering any terrain with ease. The MCD1 Dakar Prototype is a testament to the combination of raw power and cutting-edge engineering.
